Description
Aprilia Tuareg 660 – Adventure Redefined
The Aprilia Tuareg 660 marks the brand’s bold return to the middleweight adventure segment, blending rally-inspired design with modern performance and off-road capability. Based on Aprilia’s acclaimed 660 platform, the Tuareg is engineered to handle both rough terrain and long-distance touring with ease, making it an ideal companion for riders seeking versatility and thrill.
At the heart of the Tuareg 660 lies a 659 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, delivering a strong balance of torque and performance. The motor produces 80 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 70 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, tuned specifically for linear power delivery and low-end grunt—perfect for trail riding and technical off-road sections. A 6-speed gearbox with an optional quickshifter ensures smooth transitions on- and off-road.
Designed for off-road dominance, the Tuareg comes with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup, wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. Suspension duties are handled by long-travel 43 mm USD forks and a progressive linkage rear monoshock, both fully adjustable and offering 240 mm of travel. With 240 mm of ground clearance and a kerb weight of just 187 kg (dry), the bike is lightweight yet rugged—ideal for tackling challenging terrain.
Electronics are managed by the Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) system, which includes traction control, engine braking, cruise control, and four riding modes (including Off-Road). It also features a 5-inch TFT display, switchable ABS (even rear-off mode), and full LED lighting.
Adventure-ready from the factory, the Tuareg 660 features:
-
High windscreen and upright ergonomics
-
Wide handlebars and a narrow seat for off-road control
-
18-litre fuel tank offering long range
-
Skid plate and robust subframe for luggage and protection
Whether you’re traversing the Himalayas or exploring weekend trails, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 offers a refined yet rugged ADV experience—lightweight, agile, and packed with character.
