Ola Electric S1 Pro Gen 2 – Overview

Launched on India’s 77th Independence Day, the revamped Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 brings major mechanical and performance upgrades. Priced at ₹1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, post FAME-II subsidy), the scooter is now built on Ola’s advanced Gen 2 platform, featuring a lighter frame and a redesigned battery pack that brings the kerb weight down to 116 kg.

Battery efficiency has improved significantly, delivering a certified range of 195 km (up from 181 km). The real-world range now reaches up to 180 km in Eco mode and 143 km in Normal mode.

A major mechanical change includes a new telescopic front fork, replacing the controversial single-sided setup. It also features a double-sided rear swingarm and new 12-inch alloy wheels, enhancing stability and ride quality.

Powering the Gen 2 is Ola’s in-house developed motor, producing a peak output of 11 kW, making it India’s most powerful electric scooter. It now accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 120 km/h.

The tech-savvy scooter retains its 7-inch touchscreen display, offering features like navigation, Bluetooth, and OTA (over-the-air) updates.
