TVS Apache RTR 180

TVS Motor Company has introduced the updated Apache RTR 180 in India, featuring significant enhancements over its predecessor. These updates include a more powerful engine, refreshed styling, and the addition of SmartXonnect connectivity. Positioned between the Apache RTR 160 and the Apache RTR 200 4V, the new RTR 180 is priced at ₹1,30,590 (ex-showroom).

In terms of design, the motorcycle now features a redesigned LED headlamp and a new LED tail lamp, along with a wider rear tyre for improved stability. The engine has also been upgraded to produce 16.8 bhp at 9,000 rpm—slightly more than the previous 16.6 bhp—while the torque remains steady at 15.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

Among the new features is TVS’s SmartXonnect Bluetooth-enabled tech, which includes turn-by-turn navigation. The updated instrument cluster now also displays a gear position indicator and a gearshift light, adding to the bike’s modern appeal and functionality.
