Kawasaki W175

Kawasaki India has updated the standard W175 for the 2024 model year, bringing a significant price revision and the introduction of new colour options. The motorcycle is now up to ₹25,000 more affordable, with the existing Ebony and Candy Persimmon Red shades priced at ₹1.22 lakh and ₹1.24 lakh respectively (ex-showroom), compared to the earlier prices of ₹1.47 lakh and ₹1.49 lakh.

For 2024, two new metallic paint options have been introduced – Graphite Grey and Ocean Blue. These are priced at ₹1.29 lakh and ₹1.31 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. With this revised pricing, the W175 now undercuts the W175 Street, with the Ocean Blue variant costing around ₹4,000 less than the latter.

On the mechanical front, there are no changes. The W175 continues with the same 177cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 12.9 bhp and 13.2 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

As noted earlier, the W175 differs from the W175 Street in a few key aspects – it offers a higher seat, slightly increased ground clearance, traditional spoke wheels, and a larger 270 mm front disc brake.
