As the smallest model in Kawasaki’s KX lineup in India, the KX100 is designed specifically for young amateur and entry-level professional riders who want a capable and lightweight motocross experience.

Engineered with minimal bodywork to reduce weight and improve agility, the KX100 focuses on rider comfort and control in rough terrain and during high jumps. The ergonomics are highly adaptable, featuring an adjustable handlebar with six different position settings. Additionally, the seat height can be increased by up to 10 mm, and the handlebar clamps can be shifted forward or backward to better fit the rider’s preference.

At the heart of the KX100 lies a 99 cc liquid-cooled, carbureted two-stroke single-cylinder engine that delivers strong performance across the rev range. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, the motor provides an excellent power-to-weight ratio, thanks in part to the bike’s lightweight 77 kg kerb weight.

The bike’s suspension setup is equally impressive, comprising 36 mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock with 20-way compression, 21-way rebound, and preload adjustability. Both ends offer 275 mm of travel, ensuring the KX100 can confidently handle aggressive off-road terrain. Braking is managed by a 220 mm front disc and a 184 mm rear disc for responsive stopping power.

Imported to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the KX100 commands a premium price of ₹4.87 lakh (ex-showroom), primarily due to import duties. It’s important to note that the KX100 is not road legal and is intended solely for private tracks or off-road areas. This also means it does not require RTO registration, offering savings on road tax and related charges.
