Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

Kawasaki India has introduced the all-new Ninja ZX-6R at an ex-showroom price of ₹11.09 lakh. First revealed globally in June 2023, the updated ZX-6R brings a host of enhancements, including revised styling, mechanical refinements, and added tech, all powered by an evolved 636cc inline-four engine. The bike is offered in a single variant and two striking colour options—Lime Green and Metallic Graphite Gray.

Design-wise, the latest ZX-6R sports sharper, more aggressive bodywork, highlighted by redesigned headlamps that lend a fierce new look. The rear continues to showcase the iconic Ninja series LED tail lamp. Inside the cockpit, a new full-colour TFT display supports smartphone connectivity via Kawasaki’s Rideology app. Riders can toggle between Sport, Rain, Road, and a customizable Rider mode for tailored performance.

In terms of hardware, the motorcycle is equipped with a 41 mm Showa upside-down front fork and a bottom-link Uni-Trak monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable for preload, compression, and rebound. The braking system features twin 310 mm semi-floating discs with 4-piston calipers up front, and a 220 mm rear petal disc with a single-piston caliper—managed by Kawasaki’s Intelligent ABS (KIBS) system.

Rider aids include traction control, a slipper clutch, and a bi-directional quick shifter, ensuring confidence and convenience on every ride. Under the fairing, the reworked 636 cc inline-four engine now includes revised cam profiles, redesigned exhaust headers, and a new exhaust layout. It produces 122.3 bhp and 69 Nm of torque—slightly detuned compared to its predecessor—and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox for smooth, responsive performance.
