Description
The Kia EV4 embodies the brand’s latest ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, which draws inspiration from the contrast between nature and humanity. At the front, both the sedan and hatchback versions share an identical design, featuring vertically oriented headlamps accompanied by edge-mounted DRLs. A wide rectangular air dam and a black trim piece separating the bonnet from the bumper add to the distinct look.
From the side, both models showcase smooth body contours, pronounced haunches, and wheel arch cladding. The sedan sports a sleek, fastback-style roofline that flows into the boot lid, while the hatchback adopts a more traditional shape with shorter rear overhangs and a roof-mounted spoiler. The rear design differs as well, with the hatchback using a connected taillight setup, whereas the sedan opts for a split design.
Inside, the EV4 follows a minimalist design language, consistent with other Kia models. A standout feature is the freestanding panoramic display that includes two 12.3-inch screens and a 5.3-inch climate control display. A 12-inch head-up display adds to the tech-rich experience. The infotainment system supports content streaming through platforms like YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+, along with built-in games and karaoke. An optional eight-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system is also available.
The EV4 is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, and Remote Parking Assist Entry.
Both sedan and hatchback models will come with two battery choices—58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh—paired with a 150 kW front-mounted electric motor. The standard range models accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 7.7 seconds, while the long-range versions do it in 7.4 seconds. All variants have a top speed of 170 km/h. Range figures for the sedan stand at 430 km (58.3 kWh) and 630 km (81.4 kWh), while the hatchback delivers 410 km and 590 km respectively. Fast charging from 10% to 80% takes 29 minutes for the standard range and 31 minutes for the long-range variants.
