Mahindra Marazzo

The latest version of the Mahindra Marazzo has made its debut in the Indian market, and it’s turning heads for all the right reasons. This updated MPV now meets the stringent Bharat Stage VI (BS6) emission norms, marking a significant upgrade.

The BS6-compliant Marazzo is offered in three variants: M2, M4+, and M6+. Priced between ₹11.25 lakh and ₹13.51 lakh, the new model is about ₹90,000 costlier and more premium compared to the earlier BS4 version. In India, the Marazzo faces stiff competition from rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, XL6, MG Hector Plus, Toyota Innova Crysta, Kia Seltos, and Force Gurkha.

With the variant updates, the entry-level M2 and the mid-range M4+ now come with enhanced features. For example, the older M4 came with basic steel wheels and wheel covers, but the M4+ now boasts stylish 16-inch alloy wheels.

Moving up the range, the M6+ variant receives 17-inch alloy wheels and includes convenient features like one-touch up/down for the driver-side window. It also offers a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 1 GB of internal storage, automatic climate control, a rearview camera with adaptive guidelines, and more.

However, the new version does fall short in some areas. Several premium features that were available in the now-discontinued M8 trim are missing. These include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, faux leather seats, cruise control, a cooled glove box, and power-folding ORVMs—elements that many buyers might still expect in a top-tier variant.
