Mahindra has officially debuted the XEV 9e in India, signaling its entry into the highly competitive electric SUV segment. This new offering blends futuristic styling, advanced features, and robust performance, underlining Mahindra’s dedication to eco-friendly transportation. Built on the brand’s dedicated INGLO EV architecture, the XEV 9e sports a contemporary look with bold wheel arches, a sculpted hood, and a sealed grille for improved aerodynamics. Distinctive elements like triangular pixel-style headlights and a sleek, coupe-inspired roofline enhance its visual appeal.

Measuring 4,790 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,690 mm in height, along with a 2,775 mm wheelbase, the XEV 9e offers generous cabin space. The interior boasts a high-tech, three-screen setup, including a dedicated display for the front passenger, providing a futuristic in-car experience.

In terms of performance, the XEV 9e offers two battery configurations: a 59 kWh standard range and a 79 kWh long-range option, paired with a rear-mounted motor delivering between 231 PS and 286 PS. This ensures a spirited and smooth drive. It also supports 175 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 20% to 80% recharge in just 20 minutes, and offers a driving range exceeding 500 km—ideal for both city driving and long-distance travel.

Safety is well accounted for with features like Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), blind-spot detection, multiple airbags, and a 360-degree camera, all contributing to a secure driving environment.
