Description
The TVS Sport is a fuel-efficient commuter motorcycle widely favored by Indian riders. Manufactured by TVS Motor Company, it was first introduced in 2007 and later received updates in 2015 and 2017.
Priced from ₹52,500 in India, the TVS Sport is offered in two variants and seven color options. It is powered by a 109.7cc BS6-compliant engine that generates 7.30 bhp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. The bike features drum brakes at both ends and is equipped with a combined braking system (CBS) for improved safety. Weighing 110 kg and carrying a 12-litre fuel tank, the TVS Sport is aimed at commuters seeking a lightweight, economical, and budget-friendly motorcycle.
Initially launched with a 100cc engine, the bike received a more powerful 110cc engine during its BS6 upgrade in April 2020. With the updated engine, the bike now delivers 8.2 bhp at 7,350 rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm—an improvement over the older BS4 version, which produced 7.1 bhp and 7.5 Nm. The new engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox, and TVS claims it offers up to 15% better fuel efficiency than its predecessor.
