Volvo XC90 Mild-Hybrid Updated for 2023 in India at ₹96.50 Lakh

Volvo has updated its flagship SUV, the XC90 mild-hybrid, for the Indian market. Priced at ₹96.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2023 model commands a premium of ₹1 lakh over the version introduced last year. The SUV continues to be offered in a single B6 Ultimate variant.

What’s New?

While the exterior and interior design remain unchanged, the focus of this update is on technology and features. The highlight is the new Android-based infotainment system, now featuring:

• Google Maps

• Google Assistant

• Google Play Store

• Wired Apple CarPlay support

Additional updates include:

• Second-gen heads-up display

• Upgraded park assist system

• New USB-C ports

Carryover features include the panoramic sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins premium audio, ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, and air suspension.

Engine & Performance

Under the hood, the powertrain remains unchanged. The XC90 continues with the:

• 2.0-litre four-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine

• 296 bhp and 420 Nm of torque

• 8-speed automatic transmission

• All-wheel drive

Alongside the XC90 update, Volvo also launched the facelifted XC40 and announced pricing for the 2023 S90 sedan and XC60 SUV.
